Job description
We are looking for an AI & Machine Learning Automation Engineer to design and implement practical AI, machine learning and automation solutions across the business.
You will work closely with our internal systems team and leadership to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual processes, support smarter decision-making, and enhance our existing Microsoft-based CRM and business systems.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving real commercial problems with technology., * Build AI-powered tools, automations and internal workflows
- Identify where AI, machine learning or rule-based automation is the best approach
- Develop and support machine learning models where they add business value
- Integrate LLMs, AI services and ML outputs into operational systems
- Work with Microsoft Access, VBA and SQL Server-based systems where required
- Connect internal and external systems using APIs
- Help develop internal AI assistants, copilots and intelligent workflows
- Automate repetitive administration and operational processes
- Support smarter use of business data, reporting and forecasting
- Assist with supplier integrations, including cruise operators, hotels, transfers and payment providers
- Research, evaluate and test emerging AI and machine learning tools
Requirements
Do you have experience in VBA?, Do you have a Master's degree?, We are looking for someone with strong technical problem-solving skills and hands-on experience in AI, machine learning, automation and systems integration.
Essential skills
- Experience working with AI tools, LLM APIs or automation platforms
- Practical machine learning experience in a commercial or applied setting
- Ability to assess whether AI, machine learning, automation or traditional development is the right solution
- Good understanding of SQL Server and data-driven systems
- Experience working with APIs, web services and JSON-based data exchange
- Ability to work with existing business systems, not just greenfield projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to understand operational processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Confidence working with non-technical users
- Commercial mindset and practical approach to technology
Desirable experience
Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:
- Microsoft Access
- VBA
- Power Platform or Power Automate
- Azure services
- OpenAI APIs or other LLM platforms
- Python
- Data workflows, embeddings or AI-powered search
- Forecasting, classification or recommendation models
- CRM, booking or travel systems
- Payment or supplier API integrations
- Source control

Pay: From £50,000.00 per year
