Job description

We're looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support a large-scale, complex Oracle estate. This role will combine hands-on platform support with project delivery, working across cloud and on-prem environments.

You'll play a key role in supporting BAU activity, resolving complex issues, and bringing specialist expertise to help strengthen the wider team., * Provide OCI and Exadata expertise across a mission-critical environment

  • Support BAU operations, including incident resolution and platform stability
  • Assist with design, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvements
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and upskilling within the team
  • Support migration and platform enhancement initiatives

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database (RDBMS 11g-23ai)
  • Proven experience working within Oracle Exadata environments
  • Solid, practical experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

Core DBA Skills

  • RAC, DataGuard, RMAN
  • High availability and performance tuning
  • Backup, recovery, and patching

Infrastructure & Automation

  • Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible
  • Working with Git repositories, * Strong BAU support experience in enterprise environments
  • Linux or AIX administration
  • Experience supporting mission-critical systems
