Lead Android Engineer - Mobile Platform (Kotlin / Android SDK) (Lead I - Software Engineering)

We are looking for a Lead Android Engineer to drive technical design and delivery across our mobile platform.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role, where you will take ownership of Android architecture, lead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives, and build high-performance, secure, and scalable mobile applications.

You will work closely with engineering teams, product stakeholders, and architects to define best practices and deliver robust mobile solutions that support business-critical use cases.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead Android technical design and architecture, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions
• Drive POC development and innovation initiatives, validating new approaches and technologies
• Develop and enhance high-performance Android applications using modern frameworks
• Define and implement best practices in security, performance, and code quality
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end mobile solutions
• Collaborate with architects and technical leaders to align with enterprise engineering standards
• Troubleshoot and optimise applications for performance, scalability, and user experience
• Support continuous improvement through code reviews, mentoring, and technical guidance

Do you have experience in Software development?, * Minimum of 5 years of experience in Android development

• Strong hands-on expertise with:

• Android SDK
• Kotlin (preferred) / Java

• Solid understanding of:

• Mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
• Application security and performance optimisation
• API integration and mobile backend interaction

• Experience leading technical design and POC implementation
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile delivery environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders, software development,android sdk,technical design,software development kit
