Job description
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled school-based IT professional to support staff and students across a busy educational environment, ensuring the smooth operation of the school's IT infrastructure and systems., * Provide first and second-line technical support to staff and students.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
- Set up, maintain and manage desktops, laptops, printers, interactive displays and other classroom technology.
- Support Microsoft 365, Windows environments and user accounts.
- Assist with network administration and routine maintenance.
- Manage IT equipment inventories and device deployment.
- Ensure safeguarding and cybersecurity procedures are followed.
- Support teaching staff with classroom technology and educational software.
- Liaise with external IT providers where required.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as an IT Technician within a school environment is essential.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
- Experience supporting users in a busy educational setting.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
