Job description
We are a security-first Managed Service Provider (MSP) supporting small and mid-sized businesses with both IT and advanced cybersecurity solutions. We're looking for a Systems Administrator with MSP experience who wants to grow their technical skills and build a career in IT and cybersecurity., As an MSP Systems Administrator you will contribute to creating and maintaining these highly reliable and secure systems. Our advanced remote monitoring and management software will alert you to potential problems as well as critical issues. You will assess, diagnose and remediate the issue. Some remediation may be done remotely, some may require a visit to the client's office. You will be able to work from home when appropriate, as long as you can drive to client sites on a moment's notice when needed.
Core responsibilities of this position:
- Install and configure computers, servers, firewalls and peripheral equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware issues
- Diagnose and repair network issues
Requirements

Candidates will possess the following technical skills and experience:
- At least two years experience working for a MSP
- Experience with MSP-specific tools like Autotask, Datto RMM, ITGlue
- A+, Network+, Security+ and/or Microsoft certifications desired
- Microsoft 365, Intune and Entra ID installation/configuration
- Deep knowledge of networking concepts/protocols such as DHCP, DNS, subnet masking, segmentation, IP routing, VPN configuration, RDP
- Diagnose computer/network failures and anomalies and develop a resolution
- Computer component replacement (hard drives, memory, power supplies, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Windows Server 2016 and later operating systems
- Configure and maintain Active Directory
- Configure routers/firewalls, managed switches, wireless access points and other network equipment
- Configure Microsoft Outlook for Exchange email accounts
- Experience testing and terminating Ethernet cabling
- Ability to work remotely using RMM software
- Experience with MacOS, iOS and Android devices
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience, with at least 2 years in end-user support
Additional requirements:
- Currently living in and able to service customers in the Denver Metro area
- Must have a car in good running condition, valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance and ability to drive to job sites around the Denver Metro area
- May occasionally be required to lift or move servers and other equipment weighing up to 40 lbs
- Ability to pass a background check, * IT support: 4 years (Required)
- Managed Service Provider (MSP): 2 years (Required)
