IT SFCS Specialist

The IT SFCS Engineer will be responsible for supporting manufacturing and warehouse systems by providing advanced hardware/software troubleshooting, developing alerts and automated reporting, and improving system performance through SQL and database enhancements. This role partners with operations and project teams to resolve recurring issues, support customer-facing initiatives, and ensure system reliability, data integrity, and audit readiness in a high-volume manufacturing environment., Systems Support & Troubleshooting:

• Provide advanced support for hardware and software installation and troubleshooting, including desktops and Zebra printers.
• Support manufacturing systems operations and reduce downtime by diagnosing issues and restoring service quickly.
• Identify recurring issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to reduce or eliminate repeat incidents.
• Work effectively under pressure while maintaining clear, professional communication with end users and stakeholders.

Reporting, Alerts & Automation:

• Design and implement alerts, automated reports, and simple applications to support end-user needs.
• Develop solutions that improve visibility, reduce manual work, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Attend cross-functional meetings with departments or customers to support process improvements and resolve current issues or complaints.

SQL & Database Development:

• Design, implement, and maintain database objects including triggers, views, functions, and stored procedures.
• Tune and refactor legacy database objects to improve performance and reliability.
• Support data troubleshooting and validation using SQL queries and analysis.

Project & Customer Support:

• Work with the Project Office on customer-facing projects and requirements.
• Support implementation and validation of system changes, enhancements, and process updates.
• Provide required documentation and clarifications for customer audits and external audit exercises.

Security & Access Management (Preferred)

• Support Active Directory administration including account creation and policy creation/modification as authorized.
• Follow information security standards and access control policies to maintain compliance., * Manufacturing and warehouse environment with regular exposure to operational systems and equipment.
• Frequent collaboration with IT, operations, and project teams to support production needs.
• Fast-paced, high-volume environment requiring timely issue resolution and system reliability.
• Regular movement between office, production floor, and warehouse areas.
• May require rotating shifts, overtime, or off-hours support for system updates and production continuity.
• Combination of independent technical work and cross-functional teamwork.

Do you have experience in Stored procedures?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * 3+ years of experience supporting hardware and software installation/troubleshooting (desktops, Zebra printers) required.

• 3+ years of experience in IT engineering or systems engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems preferred.

• Clear communication and ease of speech; able to support end users and stakeholders.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field Required; alternatively, 6-8 years of directly relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• SQL required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift, move, and install IT equipment and peripherals (e.g., desktops, printers) as needed.
• Manual dexterity to handle hardware components, tools, and computer systems.
• Ability to work within production and warehouse environments while supporting system issues.
• Visual ability to analyze system data, troubleshoot errors, and review technical information.
