Job description

  • Work with a small team on cutting-edge research and development projects, focusing on AI based planning and scheduling
  • Design and develop prototype software using the latest open-source technologies
  • Receive and incorporate feedback from end users, field tests, and exercises
  • Explore technical possibilities collaboratively with motivated, world class colleagues
  • Deliver practical solutions to complex problems

Requirements

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, * BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field plus 5 years of related experience, or MS plus 3 years' experience, or PhD graduate

  • Significant experience with Java, Linux, Computer Networking, and Cloud Integration
  • Experience with distributed systems, middleware, and AI
  • Creative problem solving and experimental design
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Work in a self-directed manner as part of a team
  • Ability to obtain US security clearance is required

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
