  • Administer and maintain Linux/Unix systems
  • Automate system tasks using scripting and configuration management tools
  • Support system builds, patching, and performance tuning
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues efficiently
  • Ensure system reliability, security, and high availability

Requirements

???? We're Hiring: System Administrator (Linux/Unix) | 6-8 Years Experience | Contract Opportunities

We are looking for a highly skilled System Administrator with strong expertise in Linux/Unix environments, scripting, and automation to join our team.

???? Key Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of hands-on System Administration experience
  • Strong expertise in Oracle, Unix, Linux, and clustering technologies
  • Oracle Solaris experience is a plus (not mandatory)
  • Expert-level knowledge of Unix systems
  • Proven ability to develop scripts/programs using Bourne Shell, Perl, Python, or Java
  • Strong experience in Python and Shell scripting
  • Experience with Ansible, especially for build and patch automation (RHEL/OEL)
  • Exposure to Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL), Solaris, and Exadata hardware is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field (or equivalent qualification)
  • Former contractors must be eligible for a 12-month assignment and be in good standing
