Job description

The IT Technician is responsible for the management and oversight of the property's entire information management system., * Assist users with requests submitted through the IT HotSOS ticketing system as well as email and voicemail requests in a timely manner.

  • Confers with management, programmers, risk assessment staff, auditors, facilities and security departments, and other personnel to identify and plan for data security, software applications and computer (desktop/laptop and/or Point of Sale) installations.
  • Assign and maintain user login and password(s)
  • Analyze and coordinate installation of software programs.
  • Work with third party vendors for ongoing maintenance and support of the property telephone, internet and Wi-Fi systems.
  • Assist external service providers and vendors to identify, select and implement backup and archiving software, hardware and processes.
  • Evaluate unresolved issue(s) and monitor follow-up to ensure timely resolution
  • Performs preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals
  • Develops, coordinates, and implements disaster or emergency recovery procedures for information systems and computer environment.
  • Conduct monthly inventory for administrative supplies, copier count and propane tanks
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Associate degree or equivalent to two to three years related experience and/or training.
  • Experience using or supporting Microsoft Windows, desktop/laptop operating systems.
  • Knowledge of computer networking.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication (both verbally and in writing) skills.
  • Critical thinker and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize according to deadlines.
  • Overtime, evenings, holidays and weekends may be required.
