Job description
The Director of Information Technology provides executive leadership for all technology operations supporting The Casino Resort, including gaming systems, hotel operations, conference center technology, food and beverage systems, surveillance, cybersecurity, telecommunications, infrastructure, and enterprise applications. The Director of IT develops and executes the organization's technology strategy, ensures regulatory compliance, manages cybersecurity risk, and leads a high-performing IT team that supports 24/7 operations., 1. Develop and execute the technology strategy in alignment with business objectives and executive leadership priorities.

Oversee all technology operations, including infrastructure, network security, telecommunications, enterprise systems, and end-user support.

Analyze operational and business requirements across all departments to identify technology solutions that improve efficiency, guest experience, security, and profitability.

Lead the planning, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization's IT infrastructure and systems.

Establish and maintain IT governance, policies, standards, and procedures to ensure operational effectiveness, data security, regulatory compliance, and business continuity.

Direct cybersecurity initiatives, including risk management, security monitoring, incident response planning, disaster recovery, and data protection strategies.

Evaluate and recommend technology investments, equipment, software, and services that support organizational growth while maximizing return on investment.

Identify opportunities for system upgrades, process automation, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.

Develop, manage, and administer departmental operating and capital budgets; monitor expenditures and ensure responsible stewardship of resources.

Lead, mentor, and develop IT personnel, including performance management, workforce planning, training, and succession development.

Build and maintain strategic relationships with vendors, consultants, and service providers; negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure cost-effective solutions and service quality.

Provide regular reporting and recommendations to executive leadership regarding technology performance, risks, initiatives, and investment opportunities.

Ensure technology systems supporting gaming operations, hotel operations, food and beverage services, conference facilities, surveillance, and administrative functions remain secure, reliable, and compliant.

Participate as a member of the senior leadership team in strategic planning, operational decision-making, and organizational growth initiatives.

Ensure the effective operation and integration of gaming systems, hotel property management systems, point-of-sale systems, surveillance technology, access control systems, telecommunications, conference center technology, and other critical business applications.

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Gaming license license?, Do you have experience in Vendor relationship management?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of five (5) years of progressive information technology leadership experience, including management of enterprise technology operations and technical staff.

Demonstrated experience developing and implementing technology strategies that support organizational growth, operational efficiency, and business objectives.

Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecommunications, cloud technologies, databases, enterprise applications, and systems administration.

Experience managing technology projects, operating and capital budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.

Proven ability to lead, mentor, develop, and evaluate technical teams within a 24/7 operational environment.

Experience with cybersecurity governance, disaster recovery planning, business continuity, risk management, and incident response.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership, team members, vendors, and guests.

Experience supporting gaming, hospitality, hotel, entertainment, conference center, or other high-availability operational environments preferred
LICENSING
Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, State, Federal and/or Wyandotte Nation law.
