Application Engineer (HYBRID TO MA)

As an application engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of web applications. Your role will involve collaborating with other developers, understanding user requirements, and ensuring seamless functionality across various platforms. This is a Full-time, Exempt role., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services

• Develop modern, responsive front-end applications
• Collaborate across teams to deliver seamless end-to-end user experiences.
• Build and manage database solutions:
• Develop automation scripts using Python or Bash.
• Design and build applications integrating AI/ML services, including:

• Chat model integrations
• Document extraction and content understanding solutions

• Work with Azure AI ecosystem, including:

• Azure AI Foundry / Azure OpenAI
• Cognitive Services and related AI platforms

• Build AI-enabled applications using Spring Boot-based backend services

• Deploy, monitor, and manage applications in Microsoft Azure, including:

• App Services, Function Apps, CosmosDB
• Application Insights, Managed Identity

• Implement caching using Redis or Ehcache.
• Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor and optimize system performance
• Continuously improve code quality and productivity using modern tooling and AI-assisted development.
• Automated Testing: Manage automated testing and provide feedback during the development process.

Do you have experience in Version control?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without requiring any sponsorship, now or in the future (Law Permanent Residence or US Citizen)
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Ability to analyze and creatively solve complex problems
• Flexible working under changing and different work settings.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Understands how to tactfully communicate difficult/sensitive information.
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a variety of sources
• Ability to juggle multiple projects/customers simultaneously.
