Professional Services Consultant

• Design, develop, and implement scalable IT infrastructure, including cloud security, virtualization, and network configurations utilizing tools like VMware, AWS, Kubernetes, and Azure.
• Lead system integration efforts involving APIs, web services (SOAP/REST), ETL processes, and microservices architectures to ensure robust data flow and interoperability.
• Conduct system assessments such as vulnerability management, threat intelligence analysis, and system hardening to enhance security posture.
• Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, and DevOps practices to streamline development workflows.
• Provide expert guidance on systems engineering topics including load balancing, operating systems (Windows/Linux), system administration, and network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and GPOs.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues involving JavaScript, C#, Python, SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Microsoft SQL Server), and scripting languages to ensure optimal performance.
• Deliver professional consulting services through solution architecture design sessions, system design reviews, and technical documentation for diverse client environments.

Do you have experience in JavaScript?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.

• Proven experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA), solution architecture, and system design principles across enterprise environments.
• Hands-on expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure along with virtualization technologies like VMware or ESXi.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages including JavaScript, Python, C#, Java, Ruby on Rails or C++, with experience in RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server; experience with NoSQL databases is advantageous.
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure components including load balancing, firewalls, VPNs, DNS/DHCP configuration and network security best practices.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies along with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git for CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles including vulnerability assessment and threat intelligence to safeguard systems against emerging threats.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and clients.
