Job description
We are seeking a Senior Design Systems Product Designer to help scale reusable UI foundations, components, patterns, documentation, accessibility standards, and Figma libraries across a high-visibility digital product ecosystem.
This is not a traditional feature design role. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building, maintaining, documenting, and improving design systems that support multiple product teams across web, mobile web, iOS, and Android experiences.
In this role, you will help shape how digital experiences are designed and built at scale. You will partner closely with product designers, engineers, accessibility specialists, content designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to create reusable systems that improve consistency, usability, accessibility, and delivery speed across a broad portfolio of digital products.

Candidates must be available for semi-regular onsite collaboration as required. This role will primarily support Pacific Time working hours.
What You Will Own
- Build, evolve, and maintain reusable design system components, patterns, and UI foundations.
- Create and manage Figma component libraries, variants, properties, variables, tokens, and reusable design patterns.
- Support design system adoption across web, mobile web, iOS, and Android product teams.
- Partner with engineering to ensure components are practical, scalable, accessible, and implementable.
- Document component usage, interaction behavior, accessibility guidance, design decisions, and best practices.
- Help establish governance models for design system contribution, review, versioning, release, and adoption.
- Collaborate with product designers to solve complex experience challenges through scalable patterns.
- Create interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts, flows, and component behavior.
- Advocate for accessibility, inclusive design, usability, consistency, scalability, and performance.
- Support cross-functional alignment between design, engineering, product, content, and accessibility teams.
- Contribute to the long-term design system roadmap and help identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and consistency.
Requirements
Do you have experience in WCAG?, * 5+ years of professional experience in Product Design, UX Design, UI Design, or Design Systems.
- Hands-on experience building, maintaining, or significantly contributing to a design system.
- Advanced Figma skills, including component libraries, variants, properties, variables, reusable patterns, and interactive prototypes.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, UI patterns, interaction design, and user-centered design practices.
- Experience documenting design systems, design decisions, usage guidance, and component behavior.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
- Experience partnering closely with engineering teams to translate design system components into implemented UI.
- Ability to work across multiple product teams and influence design consistency at scale.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile product environments.
Preferred Experience
- Experience leading or scaling enterprise-level design systems.
- Experience with design tokens, Figma variables, theming, and multi-platform libraries.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, SwiftUI, UIKit, Android UI frameworks, or similar.
- Experience with design system governance, contribution models, version control, release management, and adoption tracking.
- Experience designing across web, mobile web, iOS, and Android.
- Familiarity with motion design, animation patterns, or microinteractions.
- Experience supporting accessibility audits, WCAG guidance, or inclusive design reviews.
