Job description
The Deployment Engineer supports the deployment and commissioning of PGS solutions from equipment preparation through project completion. This position combines field work, technical configuration, testing, and customer interaction to ensure successful system implementations., Deployment & Commissioning
- Assist with deployment and commissioning of parking guidance systems
- Install, configure, and validate field devices and equipment
- Verify operation of sensors, cameras, digital signage, and communication devices
- Perform site inspections, testing, and quality assurance activities
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and communication issues
- Support customer acceptance testing and project closeout
- Travel to project sites throughout North America as required - 50% to 60%
System Configuration & Testing
- Configure system software, servers, and field devices
- Assist with parking facility mapping and zoning setup
- Perform operational testing and validation procedures
- Verify system accuracy, reporting, and functionality
- Support database setup and configuration management
- Document testing results and corrective actions
Infrastructure & Deployment Preparation
- Prepare servers, workstations, and network-connected devices
- Install and configure software applications
- Verify network connectivity and device communications
- Assist with deployment staging and equipment preparation
- Support system updates and deployment readiness activities
Documentation & Technical Support
- Maintain deployment documentation and project records
- Update site drawings and as-built documentation
- Prepare project closeout packages
- Follow established procedures and quality standards
- Support process improvements and deployment best practices
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Teamwork?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer and technology skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move equipment when required
Preferred
- Technical school, associate degree, or bachelor's degree in a technical field
- Experience with electronics, networking, IT systems, or field deployment work
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems
- Basic networking knowledge
- Experience using hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and documentation, * Eager to learn and grow professionally
