Job description
We're seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to manage and optimize Linux infrastructure across on-prem and AWS environments. This role focuses on automation, security, system upgrades, and troubleshooting., * Deploy and maintain Linux servers (physical, virtual, AWS)
- Automate provisioning using Ansible
- Manage patching, upgrades (RHEL), and system performance
- Design and support AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS)
- Identify and remediate vulnerabilities
- Use ServiceNow/JIRA for incident and change management
- Monitor systems and resolve complex issues
- Maintain documentation and support on-call rotation
Requirements
- 5+ years Linux admin experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
- Experience with AWS and Ansible
- Strong troubleshooting and scripting skills (Bash/Python)
- Knowledge of vulnerability management and networking
- Experience with ServiceNow and virtualization tools
Preferred qualifications
- AWS or Linux certifications
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD
- Familiarity with security frameworks and monitoring tools
- Red Hat Satellite experience
