Job description

Analytics Strategy & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Partner with executive leadership, program directors, finance, HR, and clinical leadership to understand their data needs and translate them into reporting and analytics deliverables
  • Define and maintain Amego's key operational, clinical, and financial metrics
  • Lead recurring reporting cycles (board reports, program performance reviews, compliance reporting) and ad-hoc analysis for leadership decisions
  • Serve as the internal expert on Amego's data - what exists, what it means, and what it can answer

BI Contractor Management

  • Own the day-to-day relationship with Amego's external BI contractor
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements; review deliverables for quality, accuracy, and usability
  • Coordinate priorities, timelines, and budget; ensure the contractor's work integrates cleanly with internal systems
  • Evaluate the BI engagement over time and recommend changes to scope, vendor, or in-house balance as needs evolve

Hands-On Data Work

  • Build and maintain SQL queries, data models, and reports against Amego's operational systems (NetSuite, electronic health records, payroll, SharePoint, and others)
  • Develop dashboards and self-service reporting in Power BI
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and integrations using Power Automate, Azure Data Factory, Python, or similar tools
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and timeliness; investigate and resolve data discrepancies
  • Document data sources, definitions, transformations, and reporting logic

Automation & Process Improvement

  • Identify manual, repetitive processes across departments and build automation solutions to eliminate them
  • Build integrations between systems to reduce duplicate data entry and reconciliation work
  • Support compliance and operational reporting workflows (MassHealth renewals, internal audits, regulatory submissions)

IT Support & Systems

  • Provide tier 2 support for escalated issues from staff across Amego's residential, clinical, and administrative locations
  • Assist with user account management, permissions, and access provisioning across systems (NetSuite, Microsoft 365, SharePoint)
  • Contribute to small IT projects: software rollouts, system upgrades, vendor coordination
  • Help maintain internal documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base content

Data Governance & Security

  • Ensure data practices follow Amego's security policies and HIPAA requirements

  • Implement and maintain role-based access controls for sensitive data

  • Establish and document data governance practices appropriate to a growing organization

Salary Range: $100k-$110k/yearly

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vendor relationship building?, * Experience with NetSuite data and administration, including ODBC connections and saved searches

  • Experience administering Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Power Platform tools
  • Background in healthcare, human services, or another regulated industry; familiarity with HIPAA
  • Familiarity with MassHealth, Medicaid, or other public payer data
  • Experience standing up or significantly maturing an analytics function
  • Experience in a small-team environment where roles span multiple disciplines
