Job description
This position requires handling a full range of tasks, including answering client phone calls/e-mails, troubleshooting technical problems, coordinating technical service and maintaining the service database. This unique position is ideal for someone who has strong customer service and organizational skills and would like to build their technical skills supporting Windows server network with Windows and MAC clients., * Provide technical support to users through phone, remote desktop, and email support
- Support remote users with access to on premises services
- Monitor and install OS and firmware updates as needed on PCs and various network devices
- Troubleshoot and terminate new Ethernet connections as needed
- Create, test, and install system images for deployment of new computers
- Support audio/visual hardware in all conference rooms
- Support all printers - troubleshoot hardware and connection issues, monitor consumables, and coordinate with purchasing to restock supplies as needed
- Oversee all physical computer moves, adds, and changes
- Support and manage the full lifecycle of support tickets, including documentation and closure
- Assist in creating and maintaining IT documentation, including knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures
- Assist in tracking and maintaining IT asset inventory, including hardware lifecycle activities
- Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning and access removal
- Support user identity and access in a hybrid Active Directory environment (Azure AD and on-premises AD)
- Follow IT security best practices, including endpoint protection, patching, and access control
- Provide basic support for business applications and escalate complex system issues as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Twisted pair cables handling?, * Working knowledge of industry standard operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Windows Server)
- Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive
- Active Directory
- Familiarity with user identity management in a hybrid Active Directory environment (Azure AD and on-premises AD)
- Microsoft RDS and gateway services
- General LAN protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Understanding of network architecture and client/server technology
- CAT6 Ethernet cabling fundamentals and termination
- Experience using an IT ticketing system to manage and document support requests
- Familiarity with IT asset management and hardware lifecycle tracking
- Basic understanding of IT security practices, including endpoint protection, patching, and access control
- Provide Windows Server authentication support for all users
- Basic computer hardware skills (A+ certification is desired)
- Experience assisting with technical documentation, knowledge base articles, or standard operating procedures
- Basic experience supporting business applications and coordinating escalations
- Ability to work accurately and quickly under company deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

- Trade show experience a plus
