Job description
The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and managing the company's computer systems and networks. They will ensure that all systems are up-to-date, secure, and running smoothly. The IT Systems Administrator will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that arise and providing technical support to employees. Responsibilities
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Monitor system performance and ensure that all systems are up-to-date and secure
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise and provide technical support to employees
- Manage user accounts and permissions
- Ensure that all data is backed up and recoverable in the event of a disaster
- Develop and maintain documentation of all systems and processes
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT systems administration
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Windows, Linux, VMWare
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are desirable.
