We are seeking a strategic and business-focused technology executive to lead our global Information Technology organization. This executive leadership role is responsible for shaping the firm's technology vision, driving enterprise-wide innovation, and ensuring IT enables long-term business growth.
Reporting directly to executive leadership, the Senior Director of Information Technology will oversee global technology operations, cybersecurity, enterprise infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate combines executive leadership with a hands-on approach, partnering closely with business leaders to modernize technology, improve operational efficiency, and deliver secure, scalable solutions across the organization., Technology Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute the firm's long-term technology roadmap in alignment with organizational goals.
- Partner with executive leadership to identify opportunities where technology can improve business performance, collaboration, and client service.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and develop practical strategies for enterprise adoption.
- Establish IT as a strategic business partner by promoting innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Infrastructure & Enterprise Technology
- Provide executive oversight for global infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, enterprise systems, and end-user technologies.
- Ensure technology environments remain highly available, scalable, and resilient to support a growing global workforce.
- Lead modernization efforts involving cloud services, enterprise applications, and collaboration platforms.
- Drive improvements across ERP, CRM, and other business-critical technology platforms.
Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance
- Develop and oversee the firm's enterprise cybersecurity strategy to protect systems, data, and client information.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks including GDPR, NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
- Lead governance, risk management, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and incident response programs.
- Continuously assess security posture and implement improvements that reduce organizational risk.
Data & Digital Transformation
- Champion enterprise digital transformation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and support data-driven decision making.
- Expand analytics and reporting capabilities by establishing scalable data management practices.
- Partner with business leaders to implement technology solutions that improve workflows and enhance employee productivity.
Leadership & Organizational Development
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT leadership team.
- Establish clear priorities, performance expectations, and governance across the technology organization.
- Foster a collaborative, service-oriented culture focused on delivering measurable business value.
- Communicate technology initiatives and investment priorities effectively to executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline; advanced degree or relevant certifications are preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least five years leading enterprise technology organizations within a global professional services or similarly complex environment.
- 10+ years of people leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
- Proven success creating enterprise technology strategies and executing large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Experience leading ERP and CRM implementations and enterprise-wide technology modernization efforts.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
- Deep understanding of enterprise cybersecurity, governance, compliance, and risk management best practices.
- Experience with AI strategy, emerging technologies, and enterprise innovation initiatives.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows Server, SharePoint, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated success balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as business needs require and provide leadership support outside standard business hours when necessary.
Preferred Background
Successful candidates will have experience leading enterprise IT organizations within consulting, financial services, legal, accounting, or other professional services environments where security, collaboration, and operational excellence are critical to business success.
