Sr. Systems Enginer

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Systems Engineer to join a growing infrastructure team supporting a complex hybrid enterprise environment. This individual will play a key role in the design, administration, optimization, and support of both cloud and on-prem infrastructure systems across the organization.

The ideal candidate is technically strong in Microsoft technologies, comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, and capable of handling escalated infrastructure and systems support issues while contributing to long-term infrastructure initiatives and improvements.

This is a hybrid position requiring 4 days onsite and 1 remote day per week.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure environments
• Administer and support Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms
• Manage and optimize cloud and on-prem systems for availability, performance, and scalability
• Support Tier III infrastructure, desktop, and help desk escalations as needed
• Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and respond to incidents to minimize downtime
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation workflows
• Support patching, identity management, endpoint security, and overall infrastructure compliance
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system configurations
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and cross-functional technology teams on ongoing initiatives and projects
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, implementations, and continuous improvement efforts

• 5+ years of Systems Engineering / Infrastructure Engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Microsoft Azure
• Windows Server
• Active Directory / Group Policy
• Office 365 Administration
• DNS/DHCP
• Virtualization technologies
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud infrastructure environments
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation
• Strong troubleshooting and systems administration background
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
