Job description

Enterprise Network Engineering

  • Design, implement, maintain, and improve enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Support core, distribution, access, and edge network environments.
  • Ensure network availability, scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and implement long-term solutions.

Network Security & Access Control

  • Implement and maintain network security best practices.
  • Support Zero Trust security initiatives, including network segmentation and access controls.
  • Configure and manage secure user and device access solutions.
  • Support 802.1X network authentication and access control technologies.

Routing, Switching & Network Services

  • Manage and support routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and related network services.
  • Configure and optimize Cisco network devices.
  • Maintain secure network configurations and improve overall performance.

Firewall & Perimeter Security

  • Support firewall management, remote access solutions, and edge security technologies.
  • Implement security hardening standards and access policies.
  • Assist with monitoring and prevention of security threats.

Network Monitoring & Operations

  • Configure and maintain network monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
  • Support integration with security monitoring and SIEM platforms.
  • Assist with incident response and proactive network health monitoring.
  • Participate in operational support activities when needed.

Vulnerability Management & Documentation

  • Perform network security assessments and assist with remediation efforts.
  • Support network device upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • Maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, and standard procedures.
  • Perform root cause analysis for outages and major incidents.

Technical Leadership

  • Act as a senior technical resource for network architecture and operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations for network improvements.
  • Support complex troubleshooting and escalations.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to support and enhance a large-scale enterprise network environment. This role will focus on designing, securing, maintaining, and improving complex Cisco-based network infrastructure while supporting modernization, cybersecurity, and performance improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with enterprise networking, network security, Cisco technologies, and modern security practices such as Zero Trust Architecture. This individual will work closely with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure a reliable, secure, and high-performing network environment., * 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise network environments.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Experience designing and supporting secure network architectures.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, network segmentation, and least-privilege access.
  • Experience with 802.1X network access control solutions.
  • Experience with network monitoring, logging, SIEM integration, and incident response.
  • Experience with vulnerability management, patching, and network device upgrades.
  • Ability to create network documentation, diagrams, and technical procedures.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in highly secure or regulated enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams.
  • Advanced Cisco networking and security expertise.
