Solutions Architect 3

The Solutions Architect 3 will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale architecture solutions supporting innovative AI initiatives. This role is responsible for defining scalable, secure, and high-performing application and platform architectures while partnering with business leaders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate complex business needs into technical solutions. The ideal candidate has deep experience with cloud-native technologies, distributed systems, AI architectures, and modern software engineering best practices., * Define end-to-end architecture solutions for enterprise-scale applications and AI platforms.

• Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to align architecture with business objectives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and lead proof-of-concept initiatives for new solutions.
• Establish architecture standards, best practices, and technical guidance across development teams.
• Design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-native solutions while ensuring compliance and performance requirements.

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture.
• Strong experience designing distributed, cloud-native applications and enterprise platforms.
• Proficiency with Python and Java and the ability to review architecture at the code level.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, Snowflake, Git, and modern DevOps practices including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions., * Experience designing enterprise AI architectures, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LLM-based solutions, vector databases, and agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise platforms using APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, embedding models, vector search, model evaluation, monitoring, and AI governance.
• Experience mentoring engineering teams and establishing enterprise architecture standards.

Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Solutions Architect 3. The work can be performed 100% remotely for candidates residing in the U.S., with a preference for candidates located in or near Chicago or Peoria, Illinois. This is a 12-month long-term position that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is $90/hr + full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay).
