Requirements

  • 5-7 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer in hybrid or multi?site environments.
  • Strong hands?on experience with layer 2 switching, Dell/Force10 and Cisco, including ARP, LACP, MAC address tables, Spanning Tree Protocol, etc.
  • Strong hands-on experience with layer 3 static routing
  • Strong hands-on experience with NAT and private RFC1918 networks
  • Cisco ASA firewalls
  • Remote?access Client VPN technologies including Cisco AnyConnect and Cisco Secure Connect, AWS Client VPN, OpenVPN, and Netskope
  • Netgate pfSense firewalls
  • Experience with SD?WAN solutions for site-to-site VPNs, preferably Meraki
  • Proficiency with VMware ESXi, vCenter, and virtual networking
  • Deep understanding of VLANs, trunking, ACLs, and segmentation
  • Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, including VPC design, routing, and security groups
  • Familiarity with IBM Cloud
  • Enterprise UNIX/Linux networking
  • Experience with Cloudflare (SSL Certificates and DNS)
  • Strong understanding of Windows DNS/DHCP and cross?platform name?resolution architectures
  • Excellent documentation skills diagrams, runbooks, and change records
  • Proven ability to manage vendors, negotiate support, and coordinate escalations
  • Experience with Wi?Fi 6/6E/7 wireless deployments and troubleshooting
  • Strong physical data center skills
