Job description

Lead end-to-end SAP BPC implementations - covering requirements gathering, system blueprint, configuration, testing, and go-live - for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes.

  • Configure and maintain BPC objects including models, dimensions, input schedules, business rules, script logic (Fox/Script Logic), allocation logic, and business process flows (BPF).

  • Integrate SAP BPC with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP FICO modules; manage ETL processes and data loads from external source systems.

  • Conduct fit-gap analysis, design functional and technical specifications, and advise clients on BPC architecture and solution roadmap decisions.

  • Support SIT, UAT, cutover, and hypercare activities; develop test scripts, execute unit testing, and troubleshoot issues across Dev/QA/Production landscapes.

  • Produce end-user training materials and deliver training sessions; create and maintain comprehensive system documentation including configuration guides and process flows.

  • Provide post-go-live production support - resolving break-fix issues, delivering enhancements, and optimizing BPC performance in alignment with financial reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP).

  • Mentor junior consultants on BPC methodology, engagement best practices, and solution design approaches.

Requirements

Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of hands-on SAP BPC experience (version 10.1 or higher - Standard and/or Embedded), including at least two full-cycle implementations.

  • Strong proficiency in BPC Script Logic, Fox scripting, and VBA; solid understanding of BPC Classic, BW-IP, or BPC Embedded model architecture.

  • Demonstrated experience with SAP BW/4HANA data modeling, ETL design, and data extraction from SAP ECC or S/4HANA.

  • Working knowledge of financial consolidation, statutory close, and enterprise planning processes aligned with IFRS and US GAAP standards.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to engage both finance executives and technical teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • SAP BPC certification or relevant SAP EPM/Analytics certifications.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for Planning or migration from BPC to SAC environments.

  • Exposure to BPC on Cloud (AWS or Azure) and SAP BTP integration patterns.

  • Familiarity with complementary EPM tools such as Oracle Hyperion, Anaplan, or TM1.

  • Prior experience in the healthcare, financial services, or manufacturing sectors.
