Kubernetes Platform Engineer - Sr Consultant (m/f/d)As part of our team of experienced cloud engineers, you will assume responsibility in customer projects following a comprehensive induction program.ResponsibilitiesGather and analyze customer requirements for vSphere Supervisor with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)Create technical concepts focused on Kubernetes platforms on vSphereConduct strategy workshops and provide consulting on architecture and design based on vSphere Kubernetes ServiceDevelop implementation roadmaps aligned with strategic decisionsImplement designed solutions, including deployment of namespaces, network policies, and storage for pods and clustersPerform troubleshooting in Kubernetes environments managed through vSphere SupervisorQualificationsMinimum 3-4 years of professional experience in Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) environments, especially with VMware vSphere Supervisor (vSphere Kubernetes Service)Hands-on knowledge of vSphere Supervisor (vSphere with Tanzu), including management of namespaces, Supervisor services, network policies, storage, security, image registries (Harbor), certificate management (Cert Manager), and ingress solutions (Contour, Nginx)Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools integrated into delivery pipelines for Kubernetes environmentsKnowledge of GitOps applied to application lifecycle, using tools like ArgoCD and FluxCD in vSphere Supervisor-managed environmentsFamiliarity with observability tools in modern environments: VCF Operations (vROps), Prometheus, Grafana, and Fluent Bit or similar solutions for log collection and forwardingExperience with Linux operating systems, especially Photon OSSolid knowledge of IP networking, including configurations for micro-segmentation and network services in Kubernetes using NSX and AVI Load BalancerAnalytical skills, attention to detail, collaborative mindset, and strong customer orientationFluent in Spanish and excellent technical EnglishIdeally include: hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation solutions integrated with vSphere Supervisor and vSphere Kubernetes Service; knowledge of backup and disaster-recovery solutions for containerized workloads and virtual machines; familiarity with networking solutions such as NSX and AVI Load Balancer; participation in migration projects involving containerized workloads; VMware certifications (e.g., VCP-DCV with a focus on Kubernetes/Tanzu) and Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA); experience in automating data centers and Kubernetes environments using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, or Helm; ability to work according to ITIL best practices and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)#J-*****-Ljbffr
