Configuration Engineer

OverviewWhat We Are Looking For In Rheinmetall Expal Munitions, we are looking for a new Configuration Engineer to establish, implement, and govern configuration management processes.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and execute configuration management activities throughout the entire product lifecycleEnsure consistency between requirements, configuration baselines, and technical documentation throughout the system lifecycleLead and coordinate engineering change management (ECM) processesPerform configuration identification activities for both software and hardware products in accordance with defined proceduresEnsure configuration documentation is properly maintained, controlled, and traceable in the PLM system in compliance with configuration management principlesBasic knowledge of Configuration Management standards such as ACMP-, ACMP-, MIL-STD-973, MIL-HDBK-61B, ISO General understanding of systems engineering concepts and product realization processes, including familiarity with ISO/IEC ***** (Systems Engineering - System Life Cycle Processes), STANAG **** and MIL-STD- (Technical Reviews and Audits for Systems, Equipment, and Computer Software)Experience with requirements and lifecycle management tools such as Siemens Polarion or similar systemsLocationLocation:Via de Dublin, MadridQualificationsBachelors degree in Engineering, Physics or ChemistryAt least 2 years of experience in similar position.Preferably experience in defense industry R&D projects, particularly in product and software configuration management processesProject Management experienceHigh English levelKnowledge in Siemens Polarion, Team Center, MS OfficeAvailability to travel to any of our factoriesContact Information: Marina Colomer Ramos#J-****-Ljbffr
