  • Identify opportunities to automate operational processes and reduce manual intervention.
  • Optimise Azure cloud usage and drive cost-efficiency across the platform. Mentor and lead globally distributed teams while fostering a culture of collaboration and engineering excellence.

12+ years' experience in DevOps, including significant experience leading enterprise-scale DevOps teams.

  • Proven track record of building and scaling DevOps functions within complex environments.
  • Expert knowledge of Azure DevOps, including governance, process design, dashboards, integrations and Communities of Practice.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Datadog across infrastructure monitoring, APM, logging, distributed tracing and alerting.
  • Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep or ARM Templates.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD, automation, cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies.
  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python and/or Bash).
  • Solid knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
  • Experience leading globally distributed teams within large enterprise organisations.

Desirable Experience

  • Azure DevOps Expert or Azure Solutions Architect certifications.
  • Datadog certifications.
  • Experience working within Agile or SAFe environments.
  • Knowledge of ITIL or change management frameworks.
  • Exposure to AIOps tools and modern cloud operations practices.
