Job description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and adaptable ICT Support Executive to join our team in Sandbach, Cheshire., As a ICT Support Executive, you will provide remote and onsite technical support to our diverse client base. You will be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, implementing new solutions, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting with projects across multiple technologies., * Provide IT support to business customers.

  • Install, configure and maintain Windows servers and desktop environments.
  • Deploy and support Microsoft 365 and cloud-based solutions.
  • Configure and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls and Wi-Fi.
  • Install, terminate and test structured network cabling.
  • Install, configure and support CCTV and IP surveillance systems.
  • Configure and support VoIP and cloud telephony solutions.
  • Manage customer environments using Kaseya RMM and associated MSP tools.
  • Monitor systems proactively and resolve issues before they impact customers.
  • Carry out onsite installations, upgrades and IT projects.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and update support tickets.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while communicating clearly with clients.

Requirements

Do you have experience in IT support?, * Demonstrable knowledge of all Microsoft platforms and technologies

  • Experience deploying and supporting VoIP/cloud telephony systems.
  • Experience with Ubiquiti UniFi platform and major routers and networking equipment such as Netgear, HP and Cisco
  • Good understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams.
  • Mac OS knowledge
  • Linux knowledge
  • Any professional certifications would be highly desirable
  • Experience working for an MSP is advantageous, * IT support: 3 years (required)
  • Customer service: 3 years (required)
