Job description
- Developing, testing and maintaining features within the Pets at Home mobile app using React Native
- Delivering high-quality, scalable solutions aligned to engineering best practice
- Collaborating closely with Product, Design, QA and Engineering teams in an agile environment
- Owning performance and contributing to improving app speed, reliability and usability
- Writing and maintaining unit and end-to-end tests to ensure robust, high-quality releases
- Championing accessibility standards and inclusive design
- Contributing to code reviews and continuous improvement of tools, processes and ways of working
Requirements
Do you have experience in iOS?, * Experience in mobile development
- Strong skills in React Native, TypeScript, Redux, React Navigation and Firebase
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, React Testing Library, Maestro)
- Solid understanding of mobile development principles (state management, APIs, performance)
- A collaborative mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Passion for clean code, quality and continuous learning in a fast-paced agile environment
Nice to have:
- Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms
- Exposure to native mobile technologies (iOS/Android)
