We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our innovative IT security team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies and frameworks, making a tangible impact on our organization's resilience against evolving cyber threats., * Implement and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity strategies aligned with industry standards such as NIST and ISO 27000 to protect organizational assets.
- Configure, fine-tune and maintain network security devices including firewalls, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) solutions for real-time threat detection and incident response.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and research to identify potential security gaps within IT infrastructure, including LAN/WAN networks, cloud environments, and on-premises systems.
- Implement identity & access management protocols utilizing tools like LDAP, SSO, RBAC, and Cisco ISE to ensure secure user authentication and authorization processes.
- Test, validate and improve system security plans and perform system hardening across operating systems to mitigate risks.
- Lead incident response efforts by analyzing logs, performing forensic investigations, and executing incident recovery procedures in compliance with ITAR, FedRAMP, or other regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams employing Agile methodologies to deploy secure cloud architecture for high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Research?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Proven experience in computer networking concepts including routing protocols, IPsec VPNs, TCP/IP stack management, DNS/DHCP configuration, and network installation/support.
- Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST standards (SP 800 series), ISO 27000 series, and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance requirements.
- Hands-on expertise with network security devices, network access control; familiarity with load balancing solutions is a plus.
- Strong background in vulnerability management tools, threat detection & response platforms, and log analysis techniques for proactive security monitoring.
- Experience working within cloud environments; knowledge of cloud security best practices is essential.
- Skilled in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation tasks related to system administration and security operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA and Security+ are highly desirable.
