Job description
We are looking for an IT Support Specialist who can handle both Level 1 and Level 2 support responsibilities. This role provides day-to-day technical support to office staff and manufacturing teams, resolves escalated issues, and ensures reliable operation of user endpoints and critical equipment. You will serve as the first point of contact for users while also taking ownership of more complex troubleshooting.
Level 1 Responsibilities:
- Respond to help desk tickets, calls, and walk-up requests
- Perform basic troubleshooting for: printers/scanners, software issues, VPN/MFA assistance, network drive mapping, Email/Outlook issues
- Handle password resets, account unlocks, and basic user assistance
- Unbox, tag, and prepare hardware for deployment
- Assist with onboarding tasks and workstation setups
Level 2 Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot advanced issues involving:

Windows 10/11

Office 365 (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint access)

Desktop hardware

Install/Configure/Update Software

Image/Deploy/Rebuild laptops and desktops

Perform basic network troubleshooting (connectivity, switch ports, Wi-Fi issues)

Support manufacturing floor devices (label printers, handhelds, production terminals)

Manage Active Directory tasks (group access, workstation joins, user changes),

Document resolutions, processes, and common fixes
Requirements
- 1-4+ years of IT Support, Helpdesk, or Desktop Support experience
- Strong understanding of: Windows desktop OS, Office 365 applications, basic Active Directory tasks, PC hardware troubleshooting
- Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and follow through to resolution
- Strong communication and customer support skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with endpoint management tools (Intune, PDQ, SCCM, etc.)
- Basic PowerShell knowledge
- Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or relevant Microsoft certifications
