Job description

  • Architect and refine comprehensive system structures for advanced defense, simulation, and operational training installations.
  • Drive the entire engineering lifecycle, encompassing thorough requirement assessment, architectural formulation, cross-functional integration, validation, and long-term platform sustainment.
  • Champion modernization campaigns to smoothly transition legacy defense infrastructures into state-of-the-art technological systems.
  • Synthesize technical efforts across hardware, software, verification, and program management domains to guarantee seamless product synthesis.
  • Maximize operational parameters by evaluating system capabilities and pioneering enhancements for long-term reliability and maintainability.
  • Command pivotal technical reviews, structural design forums, and rigorous engineering trade analyses.
  • Isolate and resolve intricate, system-level operational bottlenecks spanning interconnected hardware, software, network protocols, and data interfaces.
  • Cultivate engineering excellence by mentoring junior personnel and instilling highly disciplined technical methodologies.
  • Validate mission readiness through the execution of comprehensive system demonstrations, rigorous integration testing, and formal customer documentation.

Requirements

  • Active Requirement: Absolute necessity to secure and sustain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance (or higher), alongside the capability to qualify for Special Access Authorizations. Due to federal contract mandates, U.S. Citizenship is strictly required.
  • Educational Foundation: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely aligned technical domain.
  • Professional Longevity: Between 8 and 20 years of dedicated expertise advancing complex aerospace, defense, or high-consequence mission environments.
  • Technical Prowess: Proven mastery in Systems Integration, System Architecture Development, and multi-faceted technical remediation.
  • Leadership Capability: Demonstrated background directing cross-functional technical teams within complex engineering matrix environments.
  • Operational Agility: Readiness to accommodate occasional domestic travel and variable extended work hours as necessitated by project delivery timelines., * Agile, Scrum, or traditional methodologies

Benefits & conditions

  • Annual Base Salary: $153,000 - $170,000 structured as a full-time, direct-hire position.
