Do you have experience in Taxonomy?, Position Overview We are seeking a Microsoft SharePoint Online & Power Platform Engineer to support and enhance our Microsoft 365 collaboration environment. This role is responsible for configuring, administering, troubleshooting, and optimizing SharePoint Online, Power Platform, OneDrive for Business, and related Microsoft 365 services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing SharePoint architecture, implementing governance frameworks, automating administrative tasks, and partnering with business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable collaboration and workflow solutions. Key Responsibilities * Configure, administer, and optimize SharePoint Online, Power Platform, OneDrive for Business, and related Microsoft 365 collaboration services. * Design and manage SharePoint Online information architecture, including sites, hubs, metadata, taxonomy, and content organization. * Implement and maintain site lifecycle management processes, including provisioning, governance, ownership, archival, and decommissioning. * Ensure high availability, performance, and secure configuration of SharePoint Online and Power Platform environments. * Troubleshoot complex SharePoint Online, Power Apps, and Power Automate issues, including permissions, inheritance, workflows, connectors, access, and content-related problems. * Deploy and manage updates across Power Platform environments. * Establish and maintain Power Platform governance, including environment strategy, DLP policies, Center of Excellence (CoE) toolkit, and usage monitoring. * Automate administrative and operational tasks using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and scripting tools. * Support Microsoft Purview governance and compliance initiatives related to SharePoint and Power Platform. * Independently investigate and resolve complex platform issues. * Monitor and report on platform health, usage, performance, and adoption. * Create documentation and provide guidance to business users on platform capabilities and best practices. * Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage work items, update tasks, document requirements, participate in Agile ceremonies, and collaborate with engineering teams. * Partner with business stakeholders to design SharePoint and Power Platform solutions that improve collaboration, automate business processes, and enhance user experience. * Monitor Microsoft 365 tenant health, usage trends, and overall service performance. * Support Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 adoption, governance, prompt development, and business use cases (preferred). Required Skills & Experience * 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise Microsoft 365 environments. * 5+ years of SharePoint Online information architecture experience. * 3+ years of Power Apps development. * 3+ years of Power Automate development. * 3+ years of Power Platform governance experience. * Strong SharePoint Online administration and troubleshooting experience. * Experience designing SharePoint sites, hubs, metadata, taxonomy, and content organization. * Experience implementing lifecycle management, governance, and compliance processes. * Experience with Microsoft Graph API, PowerShell scripting, and Microsoft Purview. * Experience troubleshooting permissions, workflows, connectors, and content management issues. * Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) in an Agile environment. * Strong communication skills with the ability to partner directly with business stakeholders. * Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Nice-to-Have Skills * Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 experience. * Experience with Center of Excellence (CoE) toolkit implementation. * Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and governance strategies. * Experience monitoring tenant health and platform adoption metrics.
