Job description
- Work as a Windows and Mac administrator supporting the Jet Propulsion Laboratory EISOC contract.
- Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Mac OS environment.
- Manage ESXi, VCenter.
- Perform data backup and restore, using industry best practice.
- Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
- Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
- Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).

Requirements

Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience.

Experience with Windows and Mac OS administration

Experience with network services related to Microsoft Windows environment (e.g. DC, DNS, DHCP, etc.

Microsoft Windows Active Directory Services administration and support (e.g. user and computer objects administration, Group Policy).

Experience with backup, and recovery tools and techniques. *, * JAMF Pro Server, Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, prior systems administration and networking administration experience.

Experience with cloning techniques.

Experience with supporting desktop / workstation hardware.

Experience with an IT incident/service request system.

Some RHEL Based Linux experience

Prior Experience working with the JPL customer strongly desired.
Benefits & conditions
The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
