Principal Windows and Mac System Administrator

• Work as a Windows and Mac administrator supporting the Jet Propulsion Laboratory EISOC contract.
• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Mac OS environment.
• Manage ESXi, VCenter.
• Perform data backup and restore, using industry best practice.
• Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
• Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
• Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).
• 100% on site

• Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience.

• Experience with Windows and Mac OS administration

• Experience with network services related to Microsoft Windows environment (e.g. DC, DNS, DHCP, etc.

• Microsoft Windows Active Directory Services administration and support (e.g. user and computer objects administration, Group Policy).

• Experience with backup, and recovery tools and techniques. *, * JAMF Pro Server, Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, prior systems administration and networking administration experience.

• Experience with cloning techniques.

• Experience with supporting desktop / workstation hardware.

• Experience with an IT incident/service request system.

• Some RHEL Based Linux experience

• Prior Experience working with the JPL customer strongly desired.

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
