Job description

  • Architect and engineer high-performance software utilizing core programmatic languages to support complex aerospace and defense platforms.
  • Champion modernization initiatives for heritage software infrastructure to elevate system efficiency, sustainability, and operational resilience.
  • Synthesize engineering blueprints across multi-disciplinary teams, aligning software systems with hardware configurations and overall program milestones.
  • Drive deep-dive technical reviews, framework conceptualization, and strategic engineering choices for real-time mission-critical platforms.
  • Isolate and rectify system-level vulnerabilities within embedded frameworks and intricate code structures.
  • Formulate comprehensive lifecycle plans, generating detailed Basis Of Estimates, Integrated Master Plans, and Integrated Master Schedules.
  • Maximize code quality and engineering rigor through systematic peer reviews and the promotion of modern development practices., * Cultivate the professional trajectories of technical staff, delivering tailored coaching, objective evaluation, and targeted career advancement paths.
  • Manage talent allocation, staffing forecasting, resource mapping, and internal recruitment processes to sustain peak team productivity.
  • Foster an environment rooted in accountability, operational excellence, and technical innovation.
  • Support strategic capture operations, bidding documentation, and foundational software engineering process enhancements.

Requirements

  • Active U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance (or higher, with background check completed within the preceding five years), with the capacity to secure Special Access Authorizations.
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory to satisfy federal contractual regulations.
  • University degree (Bachelors Degree or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a directly related technical field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional software creation expertise, paired with at least 2 years of proven Technical Leadership, Team Leadership, or Engineering Supervision.
  • Extensive hands-on background developing code within environments utilizing C, C++, Python, or C#.
  • Demonstrated history working within Aerospace / Defense, Embedded Systems, Simulation, or Real-Time Applications.
  • Solid proficiency executing within Agile Methodologies, Scrum, or Waterfall Methodologies.
  • Capability to execute strategic programmatic mapping, including Basis Of Estimates, Integrated Master Plans, and Integrated Master Schedules.
  • Flexibility to accommodate periodic domestic travel and extended operational schedules to meet critical project deliverables.
