Job description
Simply understanding technology isn't enough for you. You want to build solutions that truly work in everyday life.
You immerse yourself in business processes, understand the challenges behind the requirements, and develop solutions that are not only technically sound but also make sense in the long term.
We are expanding our consulting and development capabilities around Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. For this, we are not looking for a mere coding machine, but rather a person with deep technical knowledge, consulting expertise, and a passion for creating real customer solutions. You will be given autonomy, responsibility, and the opportunity to grow both professionally and technologically. Responsibilities
- You analyze customer requirements and develop customized, industry-specific solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (AL development, extensions, API integrations).
- You have a holistic understanding of business processes-from purchasing, sales, and inventory to financial accounting-and develop customized document and layout solutions using RDLC and Word.
- You develop solutions on the Microsoft platform-e.g., using Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, or Azure Services, depending on project requirements.
- You work closely with consultants and solution architects, provide technical support for customer projects through to go-live, and assist with integration testing and live operations until the solution is running stably.
- Interface development between Business Central and third-party systems (e.g., Shopify, DATEV, CRM, logistics tools).
- You ensure the quality of our solutions through code reviews, clear documentation, and active participation in shaping development standards, best practices, and knowledge transfer within the team.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in software development with expertise in OOP, APIs, Git, and ideally CI/CD
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and, ideally, AL development
- Experience with API integrations (REST/OData) as well as an interest in ERP processes and the Microsoft Platform (e.g., Power Platform, SharePoint, or Azure)
- Ideally, experience with RDLC or Word layouts in Business Central
- Very good German (C1+) and good English (B2+)
