Backend Developer

• Develop and maintain backend systems using PHP with a strong emphasis on performance and reliability.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily meetings to ensure project progress.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following coding standards and best practices.
• Implement various types of testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing, to ensure the quality and stability of the codebase.
• Identify and address code smells and maintain clean, maintainable, and efficient code by adhering to coding best practices.
• Utilize Docker for containerization to manage and deploy backend services effectively, ensuring consistent environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate backend solutions that align with project requirements and objectives.

As a Backend Developer at Tree-Nation, you will play a crucial role in building our core product. • Proficiency in PHP development. Experience working with Laravel 7 is a plus.
• Native/Outstanding English (Fluency in any other language is a plus)
• Deep knowledge of software architecture and design.
• Knowledge of different types of testing.
• Ability to identify code smells.
• Docker usage and management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug code.
