Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop web products, usually with Vue and eventually with Angular and/or React.
• Develop backend pieces with Django and sometimes with Flask, as Python is our common language.
• Handle both backend and frontend tasks; no one is purely front-end or back-end.
• Build data platforms, including analytics, data representation, monitoring and geospatial analysis.
• Continuously learn and experiment with new technologies such as facial recognition APIs or other complementary cloud services.

• At least 2 years of development experience with Vue or Angular and/or React.
• Experience with Django or FastAPI.

We are looking for a full stack developer with more than 2 years of experience in web development. The official stack of the team is Vue + Django, but we value knowledge of Angular or React as well, since we also work on projects in these technologies. The whole web development team is aimed to be full stack, and most engineers at Galeo develop in Python. Many of them know Django and FastAPI and collaborate when needed.
