The role requires an energetic and motivated individual with a strong combination of software knowledge, excellent communication skills and a willingness to work in a dynamic environment with teams across multiple global sites to achieve ground-breaking results. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul liDistil customer Requirements into trackable tasks with progress planning and reporting. /li liDesign, Create, document, and maintain system level software applications. /li liWork in close collaboration with customers and development teams to develop system level solutions. /li liDirect the evolution of software development processes that currently exist within the CSS business unit. /li liManage and mentor a team of 6 senior engineers /li /ul h3Essential Skills /h3 ul li10 yrs. plus experience in embedded software development. /li liDevelopment on ARM Cortex-M microcontroller platforms would be an advantage. /li liHonors Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Electronic Computer Engineering or equivalent. /li liStrong interest and experience in the overall software development process, including Requirements gathering, Software Design, Coding, Testing, Distribution, and maintenance of software solutions. /li liStrong interest and experience in software development and testing across a variety of software languages such as C, C++, python, or other OOP language. /li liProven ability to motivate and develop a software team. /li /ul h3Useful Skills /h3 ul liUnderstand customer value and be able to express this in a requirement specification. /li liExperience using bug tracking tools such as Jira and collaborative tools such as Confluence and Windows Teams. /li liExcellent interpersonal skills and an ability to develop and articulate system requirements internally or with a customer. /li liComfortable with the development of technical communications such as application notes, articles etc. /li liAbility to develop and deliver demonstration software for products and applications. /li /ul pbExport licensing and equal opportunity /b /p pFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
