Senior Site Reliability Engineer - SCIB Málaga Country: Spain Responsibilities Act as a fellow squad member. Design and lead the implementation of software components that reduce friction in deployment and upgrade of new components. Promote and leverage near-zero manual actions for administration and upgrade of systems, including development of incident-automatic responses. Identify and implement meaningful indicators that support informed decision making. Leverage monitoring processes so they map the underlying business processes they support. Embrace security and reliability best practices such as access control and automated vulnerability tests. Improve the existing infrastructure, adding advanced reliability capabilities such as auto-healing and auto-scaling. Work with Product Owners to define the scope of future deliverables. Collaborate in the selection and hiring of new members of the SRE teams. Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in similar positions. Education Bachelor degree. Skills & Knowledge Broad experience leading DevOps or SRE teams. Broad experience in agile methodologies. Broad experience managing and updating large code bases. Solid knowledge of public clouds AWS, Azure, GCP. Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git. Solid knowledge of infrastructure-automation languages such as Python, NodeJs, Ruby. Solid knowledge of code-defined infrastructure languages: Terraform, Ansible. Solid knowledge of monitoring technologies such as ELK, Dynatrace, Grafana. Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker. Experience dealing with large data sets.
