About the role We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (STPM) to join a life sciences R&D product team supporting a major pharmaceutical client's digital transformation journey. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and science, owning delivery across a complex human biological data platform used by researchers, biologists, computational scientists, and data teams. You will lead end-to-end program delivery across multiple workstreams, including data platforms, analytical pipelines, and user-facing applications. The focus is not only execution but also continuous discovery, innovation, and accelerating R&D outcomes. Key responsibilities Owning and prioritizing cross-team backlogs across multiple engineering and scientific streams Translating complex biological and technical requirements into clear delivery plans and user stories Driving Agile delivery in a hybrid environment with strong governance and structured checkpoints Managing dependencies across data engineering, platform, AI/ML, and UX teams Partnering closely with scientists and researchers to shape product direction through continuous feedback Overseeing data governance, compliance, and FAIR data principles in a regulated environment Supporting release planning, UAT, and launch readiness across integral stakeholders Collaborating with engineering teams on cloud architecture and data platform design (GCP-based) What we are looking for Strong experience as a Technical Program Manager or Product Delivery Lead in complex technical environments Solid understanding of the full SDLC and Agile delivery (Scrum / hybrid models) Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and large-scale distributed systems Ability to work directly with technical and scientific stakeholders and translate ambiguity into structured delivery Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for delivery governance and backlog management Strong stakeholder management across engineering, product, and business teams Nice to have Life sciences, biotech, or pharma domain experience Exposure to multi-omics data, scientific research workflows, or regulated environments Experience with GCP services and modern data/AI platforms Familiarity with AI/ML-driven products or data-heavy scientific systems Compensation Salary Range: €55,000 - €68,000 gross per year, depending on experience, skills, and overall fit for the role.
