Are you a hands-on engineer with a passion for improving performance, increasing equipment reliability, and reducing downtime? We are looking for a proactive Reliability Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment and play a key role in driving operational excellence.
The Role
As a Reliability Engineer, you will lead proactive engineering initiatives to maximise plant uptime, improve machine performance, and reduce maintenance costs. Working closely with Engineering, Operations, and Production teams, you'll analyse data, identify trends, and implement innovative reliability solutions across the site.
This is a days-based position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday., * Drive equipment reliability and reduce downtime through root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Develop, implement, and optimise predictive and preventative maintenance (PPM) strategies
- Utilise data analysis tools, including Power BI and OMP, to identify improvement opportunities
- Apply predictive maintenance techniques such as vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and oil analysis
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to long-term engineering strategies
- Assist with capital projects, equipment upgrades, and innovation programmes
- Promote and maintain safe working practices across the site
Requirements
We're looking for a motivated engineer who can combine technical expertise with strong analytical and problem-solving skills., * Apprenticeship-trained engineer with manufacturing experience
- Strong mechanical engineering and fault-finding skills
- Experience in reliability engineering and predictive maintenance
- Proven data analysis capabilities (Power BI experience preferred)
- Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- A proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Desirable:
- Corrugated packaging industry experience
- Knowledge of OMP systems, RCM, or CMMS platforms
- Multi-skilled engineering background
