Job description

  • Engineering robust, scalable data pipelines and supporting a modern data platfor
  • 4-8+ years Data Engineering experience SQL Expert with Python and ETL
  • Data Modelling Kimball Star Schema

Requirements

  • Commercial experience as a Data Engineer with a proven track record
  • Excellent SQL skills and strong Python experience
  • Hands-on ETL development experience, such as SSIS or equivalent tools
  • Knowledge of data warehouse design and dimensional modelling using Kimball or Star Schema approaches
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric or similar technologies, * Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Azure technologies or equivalent cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with data governance, quality frameworks and CI/CD practices

Our client is a well-established UK organisation investing heavily in its data capability and looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join their growing technology team. This is a permanent role based mostly remote, with around 4 to 5 days per month in either the Epsom or Tamworth office. On a salary of £60,000 plus benefits, you'll have the opportunity to help shape and develop a modern data platform, building robust pipelines and delivering the high-quality data that powers business intelligence, analytics and reporting across the organisation.
