Junior WordPress Developer (Based in Jamaica)

Build and update WordPress websites using Avada based on internal direction, wireframes, or design files.

Create clean, organized page structures using Avada's builder components.

Maintain responsive design across mobile, tablet, and desktop.

Format and style content using brand guidelines and internal best practices.

Support ongoing updates to client websites - including content, layout changes, and minor plugin configurations.

Collaborate with project managers, designers, and developers to ensure quality execution.

Do you have experience in WordPress?, We're looking for a creative and technically-minded WordPress developer who thrives on building beautiful, functional websites using Avada's Fusion Builder. You'll work from approved designs or layout frameworks - bringing pages to life with strong attention to structure, flow, and mobile responsiveness. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a sharp eye for layout and a love of building within WordPress.

Requirements (Must-Have) 2+ years of experience building WordPress websites using Avada Theme Builder (Fusion Builder).

A strong creative eye for layout, visual hierarchy, and page flow - even when working from a provided design.

Proficiency in structuring pages using containers, columns, and Avada elements.

Familiarity with core WordPress functionality: themes, plugins, menus, widgets, and blog structure.

Proven ability to build fully responsive websites that work across all modern devices and screen sizes.

Comfortable following design instructions precisely while applying creative judgment to refine layout or content flow.

Basic understanding of SEO, accessibility, and page speed best practices.

Experience using tools like ClickUp, Trello, or similar for task and project management.

Needs to be available for 8 hours a day Monday - Friday 9 am - 5pm in Eastern (GMT -4) or Pacific Time (GMT -8) Zones

Bonus Experience (Nice-to-Have) Experience with other visual builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg).

Familiarity with WooCommerce and product page configuration.

Basic hosting environment knowledge: cPanel, DNS updates, backups, SSL, etc.

Working knowledge of form builders (Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, etc.).

Exposure to accessibility and QA testing tools (e.g., Lighthouse, WAVE)., A creative thinker with a strong sense of layout, balance, and usability.

A builder who finds satisfaction in clean structure and polished results - even without custom code.
