Job description

Installs consumer-based hardware and software on devices and operating systems.

Follows AIT standards for devices and software. Works with enterprise technical and business support teams as required.

Communicates with consumers to provide solutions to technical problems. Leads mid to large-size projects and special initiatives within allotted timeframe.

Follows and maintains AIT standard operating procedures for field operations. Creates and references centralized AIT Field Operations knowledge bases.

Performs preventive maintenance and advanced level repairs for company devices and works with designated information technology vendors for support.

Assists in the configuration of image builds and/or modifications to assist AIT teams.

Directs, guides, and/or mentors ITSS Associate and intermediate-level positions to improve teamwork, knowledge, and customer service.

Provides oversight and expertise to ensure the ITSS team maintains inventory, spare hardware, and related inventory records.

Provides leadership and direction to site walk-throughs and audits to ensure accurate equipment and compliance.

Works closely with inventory and purchasing processes to support needed projects.

Creates appropriate team, process, or inventory reports using Business Intelligence (BI) tools.

Oversees day-to-day operations of information technology contractors for projects.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Expertise with various Internet Browsers. [Required]

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite. [Required]

Proficient with current Microsoft and Mac operating systems. [Required]

Expert at device imaging processes. [Required]

Advanced knowledge of mobile devices. [Required]

Proficient with projects and time tracking processes and concepts. [Required]

Demonstrates advanced trouble shooting and problem-solving skills. [Required]

Advanced knowledge of workstation management software. [Required]

Experienced with common peripherals and accessories. [Required]

In-depth knowledge of IT security best practices. [Required]

Knowledgeable of network architecture and troubleshooting techniques. [Required]

In-depth working in a highly matrixed, healthcare environment. [Preferred]

Advanced customer service and de-escalation skills. [Preferred]
Education:
-
High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Associate [Preferred]

Bachelor's [Preferred]
Field of Study:

Associate in healthcare, business, or technology related field [Preferred]

Bachelor's in healthcare, business, or technology related field [Preferred]
Work Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in the desktop environment, troubleshooting and maintaining computer systems in a complex corporate environment [Required]
Additional Information:
- Candidate must hold at least three of the allowable certifications.
Licenses and Certifications: :
Must have THREE of the following valid IT related certifications:
