We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team! In this role, you will be the frontline hero for resolving technical issues, supporting end-users, and maintaining the health of our computer systems and network infrastructure. - Troubleshoot and resolve software problems related to Microsoft Office, enterprise applications, and other productivity tools.
- Manage computer hardware including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with computer management tasks such as OS updates, software installations, and configurations.
- Support network connectivity issues including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and general IT infrastructure.
- Utilize help desk tools like ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy to track incidents, requests, and resolutions efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members on IT support projects to improve system reliability and security protocols.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Ticketing system technical support?, * Proven experience in desktop support or IT support roles with a strong understanding of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewall management, and troubleshooting network issues.
- Proficiency in software troubleshooting for applications like Microsoft Office suite and enterprise software solutions.
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and maintenance practices.
- Experience using help desk ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira for incident management.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
