Job description

We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented EDI Integrations Specialist to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will manage all aspects of EDI integration and handle daily transaction management for the company's 3PL warehousing operations. You'll report to the Business Systems Analyst and take direction from the IT Director. This position presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate with new trading partners and retail vendors, and to develop and customize EDI translation technologies in a fast-paced environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence., * Onboard new trading partners and retail/vendor customers onto EDI, working under the Business Systems Analyst's guidance

  • Build, customize, and test EDI translation maps and translation rules to meet each customer's specifications
  • Assist with mapping of EDI documents into the company's WMS platforms - Extensiv and Deposco - for inbound and outbound integration. Knowledge of CDATA is a plus
  • Configure and customize item, container, and order CSV templates for new customers, and import customer CSV files into the WMS
  • Set up sFTP connections and coordinate EDI document exchange with trading partners and third-party VANs
  • Monitor daily EDI transmissions, identify failed or rejected documents, and troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues
  • Provide day-to-day EDI customer service and act as a point of contact for customers undergoing integration setup
  • Partner with warehouse operations on SOPs, EDI requirements, and exception handling
  • Maintain documentation of trading-partner specifications, maps, and integration setups
  • Process and validate core warehouse and retail transaction sets, including: Warehouse: 940 (Warehouse Shipping Order), 945 (Warehouse Shipping Advice), 943 (Stock Transfer Shipment Advice), 944 (Stock Transfer Receipt Advice), 846 (Inventory Inquiry/Advice), 997 (Functional Acknowledgment) Retail/Trading Partner: 850 (PO), 855 (PO Acknowledgment), 860 (PO Change), 856 (ASN), 810 (Invoice), 820 (Remittance), 214 (Carrier Status), 846, 997
  • Generate compliant ASNs (856) and ensure accurate UCC-128 / GS1-128 carton label integration to meet retailer routing-guide requirements
  • Research the point of failure on customer chargebacks and offsets, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Business Systems Analyst

Requirements

Do you have experience in Research?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience

  • 2+ years of hands-on EDI experience, preferably within a 3PL, fulfillment, or distribution environment
  • Working knowledge of standard EDI transaction sets (940, 945, 943, 944, 856, 850, 855, 810, 846, 997) and ANSI X12 standards
  • Hands-on experience with one or more WMS platforms; experience with Extensiv and/or Deposco strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of warehousing and fulfillment operations - receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management
  • Familiarity with UCC-128 / GS1-128 labeling and retailer routing-guide compliance
  • Experience with sFTP, VANs, and CSV-based data imports/exports
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple onboarding projects at once
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with customers, trading partners, and internal teams
  • Ability to take direction from Management while working independently on assigned tasks, * Do you have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills?

  • Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Hands on EDI: 2 years (Required)
  • 3PL fulfillment & distribution: 2 years (Required)
  • Warehouse management system: 2 years (Required)
  • Extensive and Deposco system: 2 years (Preferred)
  • UCC-128/GS1-128 labeling and routing: 1 year (Preferred)
  • sFTP, VANs & CSV based data import/export: 1 year (Preferred)
