Job description
Enterprise Technology/Telecom is looking for someone with the ability identify and solve complex problems and integrate requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing opportunities. The Sr. Data Analyst must have a robust background in accounting/finance and automation/programming/modeling to address operational and financial risk., * Strong problem-solving skills; ability to identify patterns or trends by focusing on the right types of data, recognizing the most revealing method of analysis and catching gaps in the work
- Ability to perform descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analyses
- Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive) by recognizing trends
- Contribute to the definition, monitoring and communication of success
- metrics by service area. On an ongoing basis, monitor the metrics of all service areas for deviations.
- Contribute to automation initiatives that improve financial processes and operational efficiency
- Effectively and concisely communicate problems, issues, risks, and solutions
- both by written and oral methods to appropriate stakeholders and leadership.
- Develop models and ad hoc reports, sharing observations and recommendations with senior management, executives, and stakeholders for further consideration
Requirements
- Prior Telecom experience
- 5+ years of experience as an Analyst with 2+ years demonstrated experience in finance or business processes and automation
- Strong written and speaking skills to convey data and analysis to our customers; able to extract and explain the "story" from the data
- Background in automating/integrating with financial systems, * Advanced experience with Excel (can perform complex functions), Service Now
- Familiarity with the features, functions, and transaction processes in SAP, Tableau, SQL, R, Power BI, Coupa, Python, AI modeling and use-cases
- Experience collaborating with a range of partners while understanding
- multiple perspectives
- Demonstrated leadership qualities
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or equivalent work experience
Preferred Education
- Graduate degree in statistics, math or computer science related field (MBA, MSA, etc.)
- Professional certification (CDP-DM, Data Analytics Boot Camp, Finance Transformation certifications)
Benefits & conditions
The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $101,800 to $136,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
