Job description
As a Site Reliability Engineer, y ou will be responsible for the following:

Design and implement solutions and practices to improve the observability and autoremediation /self-healing of our software in production including monitoring, auto-scaling, logging and the related toolsets.

Maintain and customize a comprehensive and diverse library of deployment code and scripts developed on Python, PowerShell, Groovy, and Bash. Ensure the fast and reliable delivery of the automation code to production datacenters, with an emphasis on code quality through code reviews, CI processes for the automation code, and unit tests where applicable.

Collaborate with Omnissa R&D and Cloud Services teams to help design and develop deployment automation procedures for new Omnissa cloud service offerings.

Automate and manage multiple different types of infrastructure services like AWS, vCenter, and different network and storage infrastructure like BIG-IP, DYN, Route53.

Work per Omnissa escalation, notification, and incident practices, and monitor the availability of CI/CD.

Drive Omnissa products towards higher availability and reliability and assist with on-call support on a rotating schedule for incident escalations.

Ruby., Education: Bachelor's Degree required or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field, plus twelve (12 ) years of experience in job offered or any occupation in which the required experience was gained . In lieu of a bachelor's degree , will accept no degree plus fifteen (15 ) years of experience in job offered or any occupation in which the required experience was gained .

Compensation: The typical base salary for this role is between USD $218,111.60 - $274,187.50 per year and it may be eligible for participation in a corporate bonus program. Actual compensation offer may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, or other relevant factors.
