So, if you want to inspire a brighter work day for everyone, including yourself, you've found a match in Workday, and we hope to be a match for you too., Develop, support, and improve utilities that automate manual tasks and streamline processes, along with working on server capacity additions on the Baremetal and Private cloud. Involved in upgrading, patching, executing, and monitoring the processes that keep the Workday Service up and running in all environments: production, sandbox, implementation, sales, training, partners, etc. They'll do everything from creating scripts, maintaining them, applying patches, and making configuration changes to all our systems, either manually or using Automation tools, all while ensuring that we continue to meet our SLAs. Identify, document, and follow up on issues found during all phases of service delivery. Work on enhancements and improvements for monitoring, alerting, and tracing of not only internal services but, most importantly, production services. Position reports to the Workday's Atlanta, GA office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Requirements
Basic Qualification
Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a related occupation.
5 years (60 months) of experience in Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Python, Shell Scripting;
5 years (60 months) of experience in microservices, such as Kafka;
5 years (60 months) of experience in automation and continuous integration (CI)and continuous delivery (CD) ecosystem, such as GIT, Maven/Gradle, or Jenkins;
5 years (60 months) of experience in containerization with Docker and Kubernetes;
5 years (60 months) of experience in deployment automation and monitoring solutions; and
5 years (60 months) of experience in provisioning and maintaining Infrastructure hosted on public cloud or private cloud.
